ON A recent visit to the state-of-the-art council eco site in James Street, it was refreshing to see the wind turbine appendage furiously spinning at some 10,000rpm, thus harnessing the elements to power the site. But wait a minute, there was not a breath of wind about!
As a confirmed conspiracy theorist, I was reminded of the ‘alleged’ moon landing in the 1960s when the American flag was seen to be fluttering in an atmosphere devoid of wind. While these events may have a simple explanation, I remain cynical.
