I AM amazed at the comment from Coun Andrew Waller in The Press of December 15 stating that York will receive a million pounds in pupil premium as though this is new money.
He fails to tell the public of York that this is already included in the Direct Schools Grant and that some schools will face reductions in funding to pay for it.
Not so much of a premium as he would have us believe.
