PETS at Home, in Foss Islands Road, York, is raising money for local animal charities as part of a national campaign to raise £50,000 in just seven days for its charity Support Adoption For Pets.
The Support Adoption For Pets national fundraising drive will run from October 8 to October 15, during which time staff will hold pet adoption workshops, fun activities and awareness-raising events.
