WALKERS of all ages took on a trek around York’s Knavesmire to raise money aimed at helping the battle against dementia.
The York Memory Walk, which took place on Saturday afternoon and was organised by the Alzheimer’s Society, is part of the organisation’s biggest series of fundraising events.
Yorkshire has more than 50,000 people living with dementia, and the money raised by York walk will go towards supporting the society’s services in the local area.
