PLANS for eight new flats to replace an electrical store in the centre of York have been approved.
Permission has been granted for the one-bedroom apartments to be built on the site of the Lowther Electrics business in Jackson Street, The Groves, with developers planning to renovate and upgrade the building.
The proposals for the flats were drawn up by York-based Laverack Associates.
