GEORGE Street in York will be closed next month while reconstruction and resurfacing works are carried out, starting on October 11.
The works, along the section of George Street between Walmgate and Chapel Row, are expected to last about two weeks and will take place between Monday to Friday, from 9.15am to 4pm.
A signed diversion will be in operation.
