THIS is the face of a York man accused of assault who is wanted by detectives.
North Yorkshire Police has released this picture of Daniel James Dexter Brown in the hope that members of the public will provide information to help track him down.
Brown, 22, and of no fixed address, failed to attend court on Wednesday, June 20, to answer three charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He is believed to be in York and is known to frequent the Tang Hall, Clifton and Heslington areas of the city.
Chief Inspector Dave Hannan said: “I am appealing to the public to help us find this man who has shown a complete lack of respect for the justice system.
“While he is unlikely to pose a danger to the public, the sooner he is back in custody the better.
“If anyone knows where he is or sees him, please call the police or Crimestoppers immediately.”
Anyone who as any information that can help the police is urged to phone York Police, on 0845 6060247.
Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be phoned anonymously on 0800 555 111.
