THE owner of York nightclubs The Gallery in Clifford Street, and Tru, in Toft Green, has made a loss of £123 million in the year ended February 25, from discontinued operations.
Luminar, which owns 87 clubs nationwide, experienced a decrease in sales of 9.9 per cent on the previous year in the clubs it has retained, including a 15.4 per cent decline in the second half of the year.
Chief executive Simon Douglas said the business had been hit by youth unemployment.
