Both goalkeepers in Sunday’s Wembley showdown have impressive records against the respective team’s biggest goal threats.

York City’s Michael Ingham has never been beaten by Oxford’s 28-goal leading marksman James Constable in four games.

Richard Brodie’s goal on the opening day of the season at Oxford, meanwhile, represents the only time in five attempts that he has scored past Ryan Clarke.

He had previously kept the 37-goal City hot-shot off the scoresheet during stints between the sticks for Northwich Victoria and Salisbury.

The pair have kept a sizeable 25 clean sheets each this season and, while Ingham has let four more goals in during the 2009/10 campaign than his rival, the City stopper’s record against the club’s top-five rivals is noticeably better.

Neither ’keeper has conceded many times during the early stages of games this season but both have been susceptible to late goals with almost a third of those shipped by Ingham coming in the final 15 minutes.

Both men boast Football League experience and have also enjoyed international recognition in their careers.

Ingham has three full Northern Ireland international caps to his name while Clarke was once called up to the England under-18 squad having started his career at Bristol Rovers.
