I HAVE, as I am sure many people have, watched the elections more this time than any other time in my lifetime.
Until this year, the Liberal Democrats have never been in the two-horse race, so they have never really been considered particularly, or their manifesto, until now.
What a difference they have made to this election by being given the exposure on television to put their manifesto to the public.
So, my question is, if we are a democratic country, and free speech is for all (and that is a joke nowadays), what would have happened to the voting if UKIP, BNP, or the Green Party, Plaid Cymru and the SNP had had their manifestos aired on such a wide coverage?
As a pensioner, I am still disillusioned by the electoral system.
Although I did vote, I did not think I was given enough media coverage of other parties’ manifestos, so as to give an informed and fair vote.
