A VILLAGE school near York held a Britain’s Got Talent-style show, raising more than £500 for charity.
The event, called FOGS Got Talent, was held at Forest of Galtres Primary School in Shipton-by-Beningbrough, and featured both pupils and teachers taking to the stage to show off their skills.
Nearly 50 children took part in 21 acts, including ballet, Irish dancing, rap and stand-up comedy. Speakers and a lighting system were donated for the event by a local company, Camel Event Productions, and the kids braved an audience of more than 150 guests to showcase their talents.
Organiser Kaye Dales said: “We were so proud of the children on the night. They all performed their best ever routines. We’d practised with lots of rehearsals and workshops but they exceeded all our expectations.”
