THE prospect of the General Election already brings down a storm of mind-numbing ambiguity and bickering politicians.
As an “undecided”, I am tempted to vote for the first party that will tell us what they really are going to do, rather than keep banging on about the past 13 years. We know, we were all here! The electorate is not stupid, despite what politicians may think.
Our voting system desperately needs reform and it would be good if the ballot papers contained a box marked “none of the above”.
There should be another way to register a genuine protest vote other than having to vote for one of the extremist parties. Judging by the performances of candidates and parties so far, I may have lost the will to live by May 6.
