The Prime Minister has announced the election date as May 6, so now all the parties will be campaigning for your vote. Both of the major parties seem to be telling you to vote for change in their party slogans.
What they seem to have missed out is the word “loose”, as loose change is all you will have left after their tax increases.
I think the more important message is to “vote for a change” rather than staying at home not voting.
Ladies have only had the right to vote for the last 82 years – so make a stand on May 6 and get out there and vote.
And as Britain is still fighting for democracy in various countries around the world it’s even more important that we set the example back home. Remember your country needs you – to vote. And, even more importantly, vote Loony – you know it makes sense!
