Clifton 'A's 8-1 win at Palace saw the visitors hit four maximums plus a 13-darter from Chris Thompson and a 14 from Mark Hartley. Palace's best was Shaun Day with a 105-finish for 18.

Lutz Leutzsch stood out for Clifton 'B' with a 102 out-shot for 15 as the home side recorded a narrow 5-4 victory.

Pip Hair (18) and Phil Good (21 and 19) spearheaded Huntington WMC to a fine 6-3 win at Bootham Tavern 'A'.

Edward VII are tied with Huntington SC at the top of division two after a 6-4 win against Winning Post 'A'.

Huntington were 8-1 winners against Leeman, who had Becky Laverack-Derek Smallwood preventing the whitewash.

Edinburgh slipped up against Cygnet, who ran out 6-4 victors with Roz Kerr netting a 180 in her 23-darter, while Fred Stead closed in 22 for Groves as they were 7-3 winners against Ebor.

Beeswing top division three with Bob Mosey closing on bull and son Mark out in 22 for a 6-4 win at Saddle.

Alan Stevens took the opener for Yearsley but Mount took the rest.

Shoulder of Mutton moved into a challenging position with a 9-1 scoreline against Burton Stone 'A' as Derek Hartley checked out on 103 for 24.

In division four, Poppleton Road WMC kept up their 100 per cent record with a 7-3 result at Spread Eagle and Winning Post 'B' kept up the pressure with an 8-2 win over Turf Tavern.

Locomotive salvaged the aggregate point at Independent, where Kevin Attley-Craig Patterson were the match winners.

In the John Smith's Men's Darts League, Volunteers' Paul Dixon (3x140 and 81 finish for 12) completed the season's fastest leg so far.

He was well assisted by Paul Botterill (20) and Paul Cooper (15) in their 9-2 win over Cygnet 'B'.

Shepherd's Mick Wilsden (19 and 180 for 21) and Chaz Ramsden (19) helped their team to a narrow 7-4 win at Cygnet 'A', whose Neil Caywood (17, 16) played well.

Sun 'A' returned to winning ways with Rod Thompson (180 for 21), Gary Scott (109 finish) and Steve Thompson (19, 20) their best in a 9-2 win over Britannia.

Acomb Hotel moved to the top of division one thanks to Heath Scaife (180 for 17 and 19), Johnny O'Mara (20), Mark Mason (20) and Lee Brundrett (19) giving them a 9-2 win at Slipper, whose David Russell (19 and 21) played well.

Dringhouse's Phil Leaf-Kev Walters took the decider against Institute, as did Slip's Keith Dodd-Bob Gamble at William.
