CUSTOMERS should be able to get a drink of tap water from a licensed premises (My H2 Woe, May 4).
Last year, the Greens sought to amend the City of York Council's licensing policy so that walkers, children, those suffering from medical conditions and in fact all customers could get a drink of tap water from pubs, nightclubs or restaurants.
The city's ruling Lib Dems voted this down.
