THE outstanding performance in division two saw Bridlington's overseas star Hafiz Khalid hit the seventh double century in the League's history when he made 202 against Dringhouses.

In making his 14th three-figure score for the Seasiders, Khalid, Nick Tennant (41) and Simon Brook (30no) helped Brid pile up a massive 329-6 in a game which was reduced to 42 overs by a late start due to the weather.

Dringhouses then found themselves in deep water as they moved to 110-6 in 28 overs but then were thrown a lifeline when the weather caused the game to be abandoned.

Bolton Percy not only pulled off a stunning victory but also dispersed pre-season worries about their ground when they beat the fancied Sewerby side by eight wickets in a game which produced 449 runs for the loss of just five wickets.

Sewerby were given a fine start by openers Kyron Ebden (72) and Chris Briggs (45) who shared a first-wicket stand of 102 and then watched Steve Staveley (38no) and Mike Artley (42) push the total to 224-3.

Bolton then picked up the gauntlet with relish and swept to a winning score of 225-2 with Aussie Shane Windridge hitting 110no and Danny White making 75 in a second-wicket stand of 155

Having hit a massive 361-4 a week earlier at Wilberfoss, Scarborough's batsmen faced a sterner task at Mille Crux against Rowntrees and were dismissed for just 122 as Dave Whittle claimed 6-31.

Only Ben Lloyd, who followed his 187 with 28 was able to produce any form but his modest knock turned out to be crucial as the home side also struggled on a bowler-friendly track and were all out for 73 to lose by 49 runs.

Neil Fletcher initially claimed four wickets for just three runs, finally closing with figures of 4-16 whilst the remaining victims were split between Dan Cooper (3-24) and Jason Rewcroft (3-9).
