WE are constantly being warned about the threat of global warming and urged to do all we can to save the environment by various means, such as recycling waste and planting trees.
Speaking of trees, there was a nice one in Eason View, Dringhouses, York, which has suddenly vanished. There seems to be a strange silence as to why this has happened. Is it anything to do with the tree being near a newly modified bus stop?
Environment? Hypocrisy.
