I COULDN'T agree more with Tim Hornsby ("Claptrap on stage", Letters, January 31).
There must be many people who are sick and tired of being told what we like.
It seems a huge misconception that all people want to hear is middle of the road and "safe" music. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Every week my husband's band plays to packed venues with classic hits from AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thin Lizzy and many more.
These are also the same people who are out shopping on a Saturday afternoon.
I share Tim Hornsby's dream. Let's have a Parliament Street packed with people enjoying themselves to music that gets your adrenalin going and makes you feel alive.
So, wake up York, C'mon Feel The Noize!
