Super-sub David Healy became Leeds United's outright top scorer last night with his 11th goal of the season, but the Irishman's booking in a 1-1 draw at Ipswich will earn him a one-match ban.

Healy, who replaced Liam Miller early in the second half, is available for the home game against QPR on Saturday, but his fifth yellow card of the season rules him out of the trip to Derby County on Saturday, February 11.

Healy (pictured) atoned for his miss in the penalty shoot-out against Wigan in the FA Cup by tucking away an 88th-minute equaliser from the spot to deny the Tractor Boys the victory that seemed to be in their grasp.

Fleet-footed teenager Adam Haynes gave Ipswich a 48th-minute lead when his burst of speed took him through, and soon afterwards he shot against the Leeds crossbar.

But Ipswich were less potent once Haynes was injured and had to be substituted.

Ipswich were angry over the penalty award for an offence referee Phil Crossley ruled deliberate handball by Jason de Vos, who claimed he had not made contact.

Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell said: "We called for a penalty straight away and the referee gave it straight away.

"We tell our players to keep their hands down in case the ball hits them and the referee gives a penalty."

Blackwell sprang a surprise by starting with both Richard Cresswell and Rob Hulse in the attack, leaving Robbie Blake on the bench. It was the first time Blackwell had paired Hulse with ex-York City ace Cresswell from the start of a game since late September.

Hulse, who began the night as joint leading scorer, forced four excellent saves from Shane Supple, but there was nothing the Ipswich 'keeper could do to keep out Healy's strike into the bottom left corner.

The point took United back into third place, above Watford on goal difference with a game in hand, but they are 11 points behind second-placed Sheffield United, who play at Derby tonight.
