IT has been stated in previous letters how unsuitable the new bus planned for the number 4 route will be for York.
This would seem to be supported by the amount of alterations that are being made on that route to accommodate the new bus. Alterations such as traffic lights at the top of Green Lane, raised kerbs at bus stops, longer bus bays and the widening of curves in various places. Who is paying for these alterations and is First paying its share?
