I HAVE nothing but praise for York Hospital. I had two children at Naburn Hospital, a very nice place, but went on to have three more children at York Hospital, one in 1991 and twins in 1998.
Having twins is so special, you are treated like royalty, but treatment for single births is also first class.
Recently, I was very poorly after major surgery, but I had a fantastic team. Mr Dwyer and the nurses on ward G1 were great. They did any job to be done from cutting nails to mopping up dribbles, 24-hours a day. Fantastic.
