FULFORD School badminton ace Ben Wheller is looking to join the top flight in his sport.
The 12-year-old from Deighton, near Escrick, has just won the Yorkshire Under 12s Novice Badminton Championships.
He beat Joshua Wetherill, from Leeds, 15-5 in the final at the South Leeds Stadium.
Ben trains at Next Generation in Windmill Lane, York, York Railway Institute and is a member of Harrogate Raquets Club.
