I AM writing to say how sorry I am to hear of the untimely death of York singer Bob De-Vries.
I and many of my contemporaries remember him as a great entertainer. Friday and Saturday nights at the Munster Bar in the 1970s were a must when Cyanide were playing.
Bob was quite simply the soundtrack of our youth.
