BARRATT in York has won the National Sales Arena of the Year title for its show complex of four new show homes at The Crayke in Bridlington.
The Crayke beat off competition from more than 400 Barratt sales arenas throughout the UK to win the accolade.
The sales arena was devised and constructed by Barratt's York division, which has won the northern regional title for the past three consecutive years.
In 2004, its Rawcliffe Grange development in York took the trophy, while in 2003 it was The Heathers in Brough.
Barratt York sales director Paul Hogan said: "We are delighted to have won the treble in terms of the regional award and the national title is the icing on the cake. It is a fabulous reward for everyone involved in the creation of the sales arena.
"Each of the show home interiors has a different theme, and there's certainly a style to suit every taste from the ultra-modern to the more traditional."
"The four show homes have been a major success with buyers including first-time buyers, people from outside of the immediate area looking for a holiday home at the coast, investors, growing families and older couples looking to downsize and eventually enjoy a retirement home by the sea."
