IT was a farce the way the firework site was kept a secret.
I went with my in-laws and my two young sons, aged four and eight months, and we were near the man who fell in the river.
The sound of his son calling him was so distressing for us all. My four-year-old son was upset for the rest of the night.
All because City Council of York kept that sham of a fireworks display a secret. I'm disappointed and disgusted.
