I THINK the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority was right to refuse the £11,000 claim from Rosie Wall's family (October 31).
Her murdered son did have a criminal record, and he was involved in heroin dealing.
Even if Mrs Wall's son, Daniel, did not sell heroin, as she claims, he must have been a buyer of the drug.
I'm not aware that it is possible to become a heroin addict without breaking the law.
