City fans have grown used to sparkling displays at KitKat Crescent this season and they will be guaranteed another one on Wednesday night.
The Junior Reds' annual firework display will start at 7pm with admission through the Nestl Family Stand an hour earlier.
Admission is open to all with the prices £2 for adults and 50p for children although Junior Reds will get in free of charge on production of their membership cards.
The Social Club will be open from 5.30pm and the Nestl Family Room from 6pm when hot and cold drinks, sweets, crisps and other refreshments will be sold.
Hot dogs will also be available inside the ground and a raffle will be held.
The Junior Reds are hoping to beat their previous record attendance of 300 and all money raised will be ploughed back into the club's Youth Development Fund, who are sponsoring the display along with Black Cat Fireworks and the York branch of the Firework Factory.
Anybody wanting to see the fireworks is advised that last admissions will be made shortly before the display begins for safety reasons.
