I MUST have made one of the first calls on the council's 'yes or no' to proposals of humps. For all the reasons highlighted since, I was against them.
The opinion I got from that call made me feel the result was a foregone conclusion.
Also, on several occasions I replaced bulbs on my car lights (including brake lights) but later realised (possibly because of the abundance of humps in the area) it was merely a matter of tightening the bulb.
I pity anyone who has been 'pulled up' for not showing a light, or had to continually replace bulbs unnecessarily.
