Is it not ironic that the Scottish Parliament has agreed to a total ban on smoking in public places in Scotland, yet a similar ban in England has, apparently, been thwarted by the intervention of a Scottish MP Dr John Reid.

The establishment of an English Parliament - or ban on Scottish MPs voting on English-only matters - is now long overdue.
