IN a misguided attempt to get rid of the Labour council, my friends and I did some "tactical" voting and voted Liberal, only to find ourselves out of the frying pan into the fire.
I think the present council was most surprised to win, and did not know what to do with its new powers, resulting in the amateur way it is running things.
