THE introduction of fortnightly refuse collection will no doubt cause problems for a lot of people.
The refuse collectors do not take anything which is not in the wheelie bin because the wagon is not suitable for loading by hand. There are also health and safety implications.
Fortnightly collections were introduced by the council so, if you do have a problem, please do not blame the refuse collectors, they are just following instructions.
