Bold Haze, a confirmed mud-lover, will have conditions in his favour at Ayr tomorrow and is napped to resume winning ways.

The three-year-old is one of only a handful of horses trained nowadays by Sally Hall at Middleham and is probably the best inmate in her stable.

A Ripon winner earlier in the season on his favourite soft ground, Bold Haze has run some good races in defeat since then, often on going quicker than he prefers.

The mud will be flying at Ayr tomorrow and Bold Haze, drawn right next to the favoured stands rail, is strongly fancied to land the Kidz Play Handicap.

Zhitomir can get back on the winning trail in the racinguk.tv Handicap over seven furlongs. The gelding, trained near Darlington by Michael Dods, will relish the rain-softened ground and will receive every assistance from Phillip Makin, one of this season's leading young riders.

Double Deputy, who battled to a hard win at Nottingham last time, can take the Racing UK On Sky 432 Handicap over one mile and five furlongs.

Godolphin's representative, lightly-raced this season, won by a short-head from Dundry at Nottingham on rain-softened ground.

At Leicester tomorrow, Silidan can land the ladbrokes.com Conditions Stakes for Tadcaster trainer Thomas Tate.

This talented juvenile has won two of his four races this season, most recently at York last month when he made all the running. Still improving, Silidan can chalk up win number three.
