I WOULD like to say thank you to two very kind ladies who dropped their shopping and rushed to help my elderly friend push my car to a safe spot when I ground to a halt at the junction of White Cross Road on the Haxby main road.
I did not get a chance to speak as they hurried off. My car started up soon after.
