CANON Lee School pupil Alex Fowler has splashed his way to county honours.
The 14-year-old York City Baths Club swimmer has been selected to represent Yorkshire and Humberside in the English Schools' National division three Championships at Manchester on October 21-22.
Fowler secured selection at Hull, where he won gold in both the junior boys' 100metres breaststroke and 100metres freestyle. He will also compete in both freestyle and medley teams at Manchester.
