REGARDING the case of Lisa James cheating (stealing) £21,000 from the tax payer, and being sentenced to 200 hours community service (September 28). That works out at £105 per hour for each hour she serves. No mention of any repayments.
Yet an old age pensioner can be jailed for a week for not paying fifty-odd pounds in council tax. I think Lisa and co must have got judge Father Christmas.
