SIX jobs have been created by builders' merchants, Travis Perkins, with the opening of a new branch in Ripon.
Travis Perkins, which has 950 branches across the United Kingdom, has moved into 12,000sq ft premises at Ripon Business Park, purpose-designed and built by Thirsk-based Severfield-Reeve Projects (SRP).
The new branch has opened on the 11-acre Boroughbridge Road business park being created for developer, Canalside Developments (Yorkshire) Ltd.
The new jobs at Travis Perkins, which supplies a range of more than 100,000 different product lines and was voted National Builders Merchant of The Year 2004, include sales and administration staff, HGV drivers and goods yard personnel.
