COUNCIL tax pensioner refusenik Mr Ridley languishes in a category A prison for non payment of £63.
Yet another pensioner refusenik, Sylvia Hardy, has her £53 non payment of council tax paid by a mysterious benefactor in the form of a Mr Brown (can't be the Mr Brown surely?).
On her hasty release from prison she is whisked away in a car while lying on the back seat covered with a sheet.
Rumour has it the delegates at the Labour Party conference considered doing the same with Mr Blair but another Mr Brown lost his nerve.
