YORK Acorn ladies kick off their season in the Women's Rugby League competition on Sunday away to Hull.
The new league will involve 12 teams, with all the sides playing each other once before the league is split into two divisions. The top six will go into one and the bottom six in the other.
Elsewhere, champions Bradford Thunderbirds entertain Warrington and Women's Challenge Cup holders Wakefield Panthers host Shaw. Kick-offs are at 2pm.
