Flashy Wings, whose latest success was on Knavesmire last month, can round off her first season by making it five wins from six starts in the feature race at Newmarket tomorrow.

The £170,000 Skybet Cheveley Park Stakes is the target for Mick Channon's classy filly, who will again have the services of regular rider Ted Durcan in this Group One contest.

Flashy Wings suffered her only defeat in her latest start, a valuable sales race at Newbury. She was beaten by a neck by Expensive after she had led a long way from home and the winner challenged wide of her near the stands rail.

Ten fillies line-up for tomorrow's prestigious contest, including the smart Wake Up Maggie, plus Aidan O'Brien's Beauty Bright and fellow Irish challenger Modeeroch, winner of two of her three starts for Jim Bolger.

But Flashy Wings, whose successes this season have included the Lowther Stakes on Knavesmire at the Ebor Festival and, back in June, the Queen Mary Stakes at the Royal Ascot meeting, looks to hold all the aces.

Tim Easterby saddles an interesting runner in the £250,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes, a rich race for horses bought at last year's yearling sale which corresponds with this meeting.

The Great Habton trainer is represented by Ryedale Ovation, a Redcar winner early in the season and an excellent third at Beverley on his recent reappearance.

Sure to be sharper for that outing, Ryedale Ovation could pop-up at fancy odds under Kevin Darley.

Aidan O'Brien and Kieren Fallon can start the day on a winning note with the smart Avalon in the Unicoin Homes Noel Murless Stakes, while Indian Maiden can continue her excellent campaign by clinching the Rous Stakes over five furlongs.

The five-year-old confirmed her well-being when winning at Chester on her latest start and any rain between now and tomorrow afternoon will enhance her chances of victory.

Up at Ayr, Norton trainer Brian Ellison has good prospects of landing the £14,000 Dawn Construction Handicap with my Nap selection Artistic Style.

A prolific winner last season, the five-year-old has struggled against the handicapper and firm ground for much of this term. But he has now dropped slightly in the ratings and, with soft ground forecast tomorrow, he has everything right on a course where he has won in the past.

Quantica, trained by Nigel Tinkler and the mount of his wife Kim, will also appreciate the rain-softened ground and should not be overlooked in the Western House Hotel For Weddings Handicap.

Prince Namid is worthy of support in the Book Your Christmas Party At Ayr Handicap. The three-year-old has been running creditably in defeat lately and will relish the rain-softened ground at the course.
