BEN Jones scored a hat-trick of tries as New Earswick made it two wins from two in Pennine League division one.

Chris Judge and Carl Pallister also bagged braces at either end of the game as the All Blacks saw off Newsome Panthers - promoted with them last season - 52-12 thanks to a fine second-half display.

Liam Gargan sent Judge over to open the scoring and the loose-forward got his second after a superb break by man of the match Steve Perks. Jones also dummied his way over in the first half, James Sanderson adding two conversions, but two converted Newsome tries kept it to 16-12 at the interval.

All Blacks took the visitors apart in the second half to race clear with 34 unanswered points.

Perks got the ball rolling before a kick through from stand-off Gargan was gathered by winger Chris Spain, whose inside pass put Jones in under the posts.

The best move of the match saw the ball pass through five pairs of hands before Gargan sent substitute Alan Pallister in, after which Jamie Rhodes scored the individual try of the game, brushing off five tacklers as he raced in from half-way.

Jones then completed his treble before Carl Pallister got his double. Sanderson added one more conversion in the second period and Jones three.

York Acorn 'A' got their first points on the board in division three with a 28-0 away win over Stainland Stags.
