CUEBALL 'B's Tracey Farmeary played a captain's innings, closing 110 bull finish for 20, as they hammered Blacksmiths 9-0 in York John Smith's Ladies Darts League division one.

Vice-captain Angie Hields chipped in with 140, 122 for 23.

Slip 'A's Carole Perrett with 23 and a 74 bull finish from Babs Harrison helped them to a 7-2 win at close rivals Clifton 'A'. Slip 'A' put up a brave fight against Clifton 'B' and despite only having four players took the match to the wire.

Wenlock's Michelle Britton opened with a 20-darter before Independent's Olive Blades kick-started their winning reply. Roz Kerr hit the tons as Cygnet 'C' despatched Holgate 7-2 Carol Minton-Becky Laverack sealed Leeman 'B's victory at Flag.

In division two, leaders Cygnet 'B's win against Slipper was gained through mother and daughter pairing Jackie Coverdale-Cindy Benton.

Tang Hall WMC were a player light but still managed a 6-3 win at Jubilee. Sun 'A' were also two players down as Severus took a 7-2 win.

Sun 'B's final pairing, Betty Pinder-Jackie Young, secured the result at Dringhouses.

Britannia sailed clear at the head of division three as they won 7-2 at Tap.

Heather Green closed with a two-dart 68 as Shepherd 'B's victory was secured by final pairing Sue Lacy-Jacky Sargeant against Leeman 'D'.

Debbi Witts partnered Christina Waddington to secure Leeman 'A's win against Volunteer 'B'.

Cueball 'A' had their match with St Clement's in the bag within the singles. Cygnet 'D' won the first and last three to overcome Volunteer 'A'.
