AWAY-DAY specialists Dagenham and Redbridge will be hoping to extend an unbeaten run on their travels that stretches back to Good Friday when they visit York City tonight.

The Essex team have won four and drawn four of their last eight away fixtures since a 1-0 reverse at Stevenage Borough at the start of the Easter bank holiday.

In fact, John Still's men have only lost one of their last 15 outings - home and away - with Scarborough surprise victors at the Glyn Hopkin Stadium last month.

Dagenham will also arrive at KitKat Crescent after consecutive Conference victories, defeating Burton Albion 3-1 on Saturday after matching the Minstermen's 5-0 mauling of Altrincham in the previous game.

Impressively, the fifth-placed Daggers are among the division's early pace-setters despite having four players currently injured from their small squad.

Midfielder Jake Leberl became the latest casualty when he suffered a serious knee injury against Burton and has joined long-serving centre-back Ashley Vickers, midfielder Paul Bruce and winger Sam Saunders in the treatment room.

As a result, depleted Dagenham are struggling to name five substitutes against City with 17-year-old Kenny Clark and rookie Bai Mas-Lettijallow already being called on for bench duties.

Former St Albans City midfielder Rambir Marwa is expected to replace Leberl for the visitors, who should otherwise be unchanged from the side that started against Burton.

Ex-Luton Town and Thurrock striker Tresor Kandol will continue in attack after scoring three headers during his first two matches for the Daggers.

Kandol, who is a cousin of Portsmouth striker Tresor Lomana Lua Lua, will partner Chris Moore in attack.
