SCARBOROUGH make the trip to perennial Conference play-off team Hereford United for a stiff start to their campaign.
Boro have an injury doubt over Paul Foot but Nicky Henry's selection poser is in midfield, where Neil Bishop and Tony Hackworth have looked impressive in pre-season with Neil Redfearn taking a back seat.
Said Henry: "We couldn't have asked for a tougher game but we are ready for the challenge.
"This season Neil (Redfearn) will have a different role and he may well start games but not finish them, or come on later."
Redfearn could well start at Edgar Street with Hackworth playing on the right and the outcome of the game will depend on how Boro cope with the five-man midfield employed by the Bulls.
