YORK Acorn ARLC got their preparations for their first season in National Conference League division one off to a good start with a friendly victory over premier division outfit Hull Dockers.
Newly-crowned BARLA Player of the Year Johnny Waldron scored two tries in a 28-18 win at Thanet Road.
