Jamie Spencer, one of the first to sympathise with the painful plight of his arch-rival Robert Winston, can figure among the winners at Bath tomorrow.
Winston's horrific fall at Ayr on Saturday night, which left the York-based jockey with a double-fracture of his jaw, has effectively ended his championship bid for this year and left the title honours to be fought out by Spencer and Seb Sanders.
Spencer teams-up with Sweetest Revenge in the 'Winning Post' 20 Years In Racing Fillies' Handicap, and Mark Usher's in-form four-year-old will be hard to beat.
Winner of three of her last four starts, Sweetest Revenge has already been successful over this course and distance. A 6lb penalty may not be enough to halt her progress and she is awarded the Nap vote.
Spencer also has good prospects of landing the featured Joe Wynne Memorial Handicap aboard Sir Michael Stoute's Villarrica in this £11,000 event.
The lightly-raced three-year-old got off the mark at Warwick last month when justifying favouritism by half a length from Western House.
Open to further improvement, Villarrica can progress further over tomorrow's longer distance and is expected to be a tough nut to crack.
Spencer has yet another good opportunity to cut back Winston's lead aboard Bathwick Emma in the opening maiden fillies stakes.
Bathwick Emma, who has been knocking on the door in similar company on her latest outings, can capitalise on her superior experience in this five and a half furlongs dash.
On a low-profile day tomorrow's only other meeting is over the jumps at Newton Abbot, where Keltic Lord makes strong appeal in the Cavanna Group Handicap Chase. Robert Thornton's mount has won his last three starts. He can oblige again.
Tuesday's tips:
Bath
2-15 Bathwick Emma, 2-45 Half Pint Bill, 3-15 Tomthevic, 3-45 Villarrica, 4-15 Archie Wright, 4-45 Sweetest Revenge (Nap)
Newton Abbot

There are no other meetings tomorrow.
Tom O'Ryan's Nap for today's racing is: Annibale
Caro (7.50 at Carlisle).
