Danny White made 75 when Bolton Percy took first use of the New Earswick wicket in division two.

Home bowler Paul Stimpson claimed 3-64 but Jamie Rigby made 29 and Phil Salter 36 to see Bolton's score to 184-7. Salter then took 3-26 as he provided the back-up for recent signing Mike Boothman, whose 5-64 had Earswick back in the hutch for 128.

Rowntrees all-rounder Paul Brook played the starring role in his side's home triumph over Dringhouses which keeps the factory side in a mid-table position.

Brook top-scored with 37 for the KitKat men with other runs coming from Gerry Capelin, who made 29. However, the first half plaudits were firmly commandeered by Chris Evans who claimed 7-54 to keep the Rowntrees total in range at 153-9.

Dringhouses appeared to be heading towards victory with John Crowe (72) benefiting from the home fielders' generosity on more than one occasion and Evans seemingly in command.

But the latter was run out following a fine piece of fielding by 15-year-old John Patrick, which paved the way for Brook to capture 6-32 in 14.1 overs with his best figures bowling Dringhouses to defeat at 125.
