SURF beauty Brooke Bond failed in her bid to become Britain's number one beach babe - but had a great time trying.
The 22-year-old, from Pocklington, made it to the last 20 in a modelling competition that attracted a massive 2,000 entries.
This weekend she battled it out at Fistral Beach, in Newquay, with the hope of being crowned as surfing's top beach babe in the Nuts Boardmasters Babes competition.
But she failed to make it into the last ten.
"It was a really good event - the crowd were great," Brooke said.
"I was disappointed, but there were some nice girls who got through."
