IF like me you grew up in the forties and fifties, you will not be offended if I speak bluntly. After all we grew up with The Goons, Round the Horn, Carry on Films and other hilarious innuendo, we are not afraid to talk dirty.
I'm talking 'bums' here.
Bowel cancer kills. My much loved, darling husband died in January. He had bowel cancer. He left us too early.
Should you be lucky enough to receive one of the 'poo-testing kits' being sent to the over sixties for early screening, please use it. I know it's a pain in the bum, but don't be shy, return the test.
Early detection is a lifesaver and I don't want to lose any more of my generation just yet.
