Independent financial adviser Yvonne Goodwin of Pearson Jones, which has a branch above Browns department store in Davygate, York, has won the overall Life And Pensions IFA of the Year, along with the Individual Pensions IFA of the Year.
The accolades were presented by Steve Bee, head of pensions strategy at Scottish Life at the life and pensions awards ceremony at London's Royal Horseguards Hotel in Whitehall.
Yvonne whose administrative area includes York, Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle was described by the judges as "very knowledgeable with great communications skills.."
They added that she was able to "build trust and empathy - an all-round, first class IFA."
Yvonne said: I treat clients how I would want to be treated myself."
