I KEEP reading that Hillards supermarket opened on Hull Road, York in 1968.
I can remember going shopping there in March 1966 with my mother. Can anybody else remember it being open then?

Now that Royal Ascot is a memory, is the racecourse extension being taken down to open up Knavesmire as open land again, and the football pitches reinstated?
